The Sum of All Writers

Greetings everyone,

It's been a busy few weeks. We received the e-proofs from the printer, and they looked great. The physical proofs have been ordered and should arrive in the next week or two. If all goes well, we start printing shortly after that. 

If you need to update your address, please do so now. We won't lock addresses for a few more weeks, but it is better to do it now if needed.

We still have a few people who have not completed their survey. If you pledged digital-only content, I will attempt to close the survey for you. Physical rewards require an address to be shipped. If you see a hefty shipping price, it should change once you have entered your address. The default shows the highest cost and does not apply to most people.

The project is making progress, and we're moving forward. The Sum of All Writers book files are off to the printer for e-proofs. Once those come back, I'll order physical proofs. The next step after that will be printing the books. 

I will also be finishing up the Farland keychain. I couldn't decide whether to include a keychain or a keyring, so we have included both. Each keychain purchased, Tanit or Farland, will come with a stainless steel keyring and a keychain. This way, you can choose to use either or both. It's up to you.

We will process charges to accounts with a balance due in the next few days. These charges are typically add-ons or shipping charges.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but over 20 people still need to complete their survey. Everyone gets this email, yet only those who still need to complete it get a separate email asking them to do so. If you get one of those emails, please complete it. Even if you purchased only electronic products, please still finish it.

Hello everyone,

We had a setback. Some of the book's content either became corrupted or was accidentally removed. We used versioning, but this data has been missing for a while. All the current editions we had needed it. The writing has been re-added, but it had to be re-edited and go through the process again, including proofreading. This has put us behind schedule.

Despite the setback, we expect to submit the book to the printer for proofing next week. We are aiming for a November shipping date, with the possibility of an earlier release.

IMPORTANT
If you receive an email asking you to complete your survey, it still needs to be completed. Those emails are sent only to those who still need to finish them. If you receive such an email, please complete your survey. Time is running out.

Also, a reminder: The shipping may not show the correct value. Once you enter your address and update it, the correct amount should appear.

Before I get into the updates, I have an important reminder. If you still need to complete your survey, please do so as soon as possible. If you hesitate because the default shipping lists a high price, please rest assured; once you enter your address, the shipping charge will change to the correct amount. If you do not see a change, please get in touch with me at [email protected], and I will look into it personally. 

We are making great strides in finalizing the draft of The Sum of All Writers. Soon, we will wrap up our last round of editing and send the book to the printer for a proof. 

Amanda Marlowe, our resident puzzle maker extraordinaire, has been working hard on the puzzle pack, which is currently in testing. We hired an artist to add artwork to make it even better. Some of these puzzles can be challenging, so prepare to wear your big thinker hat.

The Tanit Keychain is complete.

The front is smooth like polished stone, and the back has a texture with a unique design seen only with light at an angle, a little extra addition.

The Farland Keychain is still in development.

We will soon release the eBook Of Mice and Magic, providing you with reading material while you wait for The Sum of All Writers.

We expect to ship near the end of Sept 2024/Beginning of Oct 2024.

The surveys have been sent. If you have not received yours yet, you should soon.

It has come to my attention that if you add a product during the survey, the shipping may initially be incorrectly displayed. I understand how frustrating this can be, and I'm genuinely sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you continue the survey and add your address, the correct shipping should appear before you check out.

This is our first time shipping internationally and I am sure something was done incorrectly during the setup. Please accept my apology, and rest assured that we are committed to resolving this issue promptly, and the end result will be correct.

If you are shipping to a location outside of North America, Netherlands, or Australia, please contact me before completing the survey and provide your address. If necessary, I will create a separate shipping profile to ensure you get the best shipping price. I have created an email address for this purpose. If you are outside of the areas I mentioned above and already completed the survey, let me know, and I will review your charges to ensure you received the best price; either way, we will make it right.

I am sorry for the inconvience. I strongly believe in customer service. Many years ago, I worked for one of the largest computer manufacturing companies in the world. I managed the Quality Assurance program. You may have called a company and heard, "This call may be monitored for quality assurance." That was my team. I managed, trained, and aided a vast number of agents who provided customer support via phone and email. Customer service is one of the essential factors any company can provide.
